SANTA NIGHT! Thursday, December 9th. It will be here before you know it. Plan now to attend and bring your children, your grandchildren, someone else's children, nieces, nephews. VOLUNTEERING TO HELP THE HOMELESS. As you may or may not know, I volunteer each week to help SECOND STARTS, an organization established in 2002, that addresses the household start-up needs of families in housing crisis in the Indianapolis, Indiana, area. This is accomplished by accepting donations of new and gently used household items. I have included a list of items recommended for donations. For more information about this organization, just click on SECOND STARTS. Presently we are in great need for towels and sheets.
So, if you are thinking Goodwill, think of SECOND STARTS. This is the perfect time to clean out the old, or just simplify your life. If you are moving or know someone who is moving and don't know what to do with the excess that won't fit in the new place, just give me a call. (Oh, gosh, you could call me as a Realtor, too!!) DON'T FORGET! Make sure if you have refinanced your home this year that you refile your Mortgage Exemption. Also, just double check to make sure you still have your Homestead Exemption. If you have questions regarding either one of these, I can help. Please give me a call.
